Mo’s Lincoln City is so excited to be hosting the annual sandcastle contest on the Siletz Bay right in front of Mo’s!

Event registration begins on August 13th, 2022 outside Mo’s in Lincoln City. There is a $5 fee to enter and proceeds go to the backpack for kids program. The event starts at 10 AM and the judging will begin at 1 PM.

There will be prizes awarded to the best sand sculptures… categories for the competition will be announced soon.

Only sand, water, shells and other natural beach materials found on the beach that day can be used for construction. Forms can be used in the construction process but cannot support the final structure. Hand tools are allowed, but not power tools. This is an amateur competition—professional “sand artists” are disqualified from winning prizes.
